Hace algunas semanas inició en Japón una gira llamada: Jump Super Anime Tour 2008, en medio de la cual se anunciaron nuevas animaciones de diferentes éxitos de la publicación Shonen Jump (entre ellas animaciones especiales de One Piece). Todo esto, con motivo del 40 Aniversario de la publicación. La más esperada y que más euforia causó: Ossu! Kaette Kita Son Gokû to Nakama-tachi!! (¡¡Hey¡¡¡, Vuelven goku y sus amigos), capítulo especial de la legendaria serie Dragon Ball.

La historia transcurre dos años después de haber vencido a Majin Buu. Mr Satan invita a Goku y compañía para un gran banquete en su nuevo hotel y mientras todos se divierten dos naves en forma de esfera llegan a la tierra, su presencia no pasa inadvertida para los guerreros Z y acuden de inmediato ante la presencia de los visitantes. Para sorpresa de todos aparece un joven saiyajin de nombre Tarble pidiendo ayuda para derrotar a dos poderosos enemigos.
